Free Tools for Dividend Investors
No paywalls. No upsells. No $999/year subscription required.
Wall Street has tools. Bloomberg terminals cost $24,000 a year. FactSet runs another $12,000. Morningstar Direct? Add another $10K on top of that. We built these for a different kind of investor β the kind with $100 to put to work this month, reading annual reports at 11pm after the kids are in bed.

π Graham Number Calculator β 3 steps
- Pull up the company's most recent 10-K or earnings report (or use any financial data site that shows EPS and book value per share)
- Enter EPS and book value per share into the calculator
- Compare the result to the current stock price β if the price is below the Graham Number, it's worth a closer look
Takes about 5 minutes per stock. Run it before you buy anything.
Try the Graham Calculator βπ Aristocrat Screener β Start here if you don't know what to buy
- Set a minimum yield that matters to your income goals (3%+ is a reasonable starting point)
- Filter out payout ratios above 75% β you want room for dividend growth
- Sort by years of consecutive dividend growth to see who's been most reliable
- Cross-reference with the Graham Number calculator for any names that catch your eye
Think of this as your shortlist generator, not your buy signal.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are these tools free forever?
The Graham Number Calculator and all calculator tools are free, period. No sign-up, no subscription, no expiration date. We built them because every investor should run these numbers before buying a stock, and charging for basic math felt wrong. The Dividend Aristocrat Screener and Budget Portfolio Tracker will be paid products on Gumroad β one-time purchases, not subscriptions. Pay once, use them as long as you want.
Do I need to sign up to use these tools?
For the calculators: no. Open the page, enter your numbers, get your answer. No email required. For data-storing tools like the Portfolio Tracker: yes, you'll need an account so your portfolio data persists. We don't sell your data or send it anywhere.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Every tool that stores data supports CSV export. Your portfolio data, screener results, calculations β download all of it at any time. You should never be locked into a tool because leaving is too hard.
Why are you building these for free (or cheap)?
Because the investors who need these tools most are usually the ones who can least afford $30/month software subscriptions. We built this because we got tired of value investing advice that only made sense if you already had $500K. Free and cheap tools also build trust β if the Graham Number Calculator helps you avoid a bad stock, you'll come back when we launch the screener.
